Namib-Naukluft is a destination you won't forget.. The oldest desert in the world, with its colors changing every hour is a truly once in a lifetime experience. This destination is best known for Sossusvlei and Deadvlei: a dried out pan with dark ancient dead tries that stick out against the white pan and the bright orange dunes around it. Here you will feel like you are in a surrealistic dream, or a painting from Dali!
The Namib has been dry for at least 55 million years, and possibly as many as 80 million.
Since 2013 the Namib Desert Sand Sea is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The area has been inhabited since the Stone Age times.
