Matobo Hills National Park exhibits large boulders that provide natural shelters and have been associated with human occupation from the early Stone Age, proven by an outstanding collection of rock paintings. A special part of this area is the Intensive Protection Zone, where a large population of Black and White Rhinoceros are successfully breeding. Besides spotting rhino, you may come across zebra, giraffe, hyena, hippo, warthog, waterbuck, crocodiles, baboons, monkey… and more. If you look to the skies, you’ve got a fantastic chance of spotting black eagles, as well as an incredible variety of other bird life.
