Visit Isalo National Park

Situated in the southwest of the Ihorombe region, this national park is renowned for its varied and unique terrain. This rocky massif is reminiscent of the great American West, and has been called "the Malagasy Colorado". The park alternates between desert landscapes and verdant canyons, with several rivers leading to natural pools. You can hike here for a few hours or several days. You'll encounter lemurs and other endemic species.
